Bakgrund
One third of all food produced globally never gets eaten. Let that sink in.
In Sweden alone, the average person pours more than 18 kilos of food and drinks down the drain every year. More than half of it is dairy, usually because the best-before date has passed.
"JuSt SMeLL tHe MiLk." Yeah, yeah. We've all heard it. Instead, we came up with something a little more reliable.

We developed a bottle cap that measures the product's pH level and changes colour when the contents have gone bad.
The cap consists of three layers. The first allows a small amount of liquid to pass through. The second contains a pH indicator that reacts to changes in acidity. The third seals the cap while revealing the colour change on the outside.
